The proposed project concerns the afforestation of bush and grassland in the ranch “Rio Aquidaban”. The total afforestation area includes 580 hectares out of a total surface of 650 ha. The 580 project ha corresponds to degraded lands which have been used for cattle grazing since various decades. The remaining 70 ha corresponds to 60 ha degraded natural forests and 10 ha swamp.

Since the year 2000, the company global-woods is executing afforestations to regenerate natural habitats and counteract erosion.
