Since 1998, global-woods international AG has seven afforested sites under contract, which have been formerly degraded Pampa areas. These sums up to approximately 4,000,000 trees planted and protected.
Due to continuous overgrazing of the natural vegetation of Patagonia and the complete overuse of the southern beeches forests (Nothofagus), the Patagonian soils are prone to erosion and highly jeopardized by the exposure to very strong winds and rain falls.
Thanks to the commitment of global-woods international AG the replanted and afforested areas are now protected from desertification.

Since 1998, global-woods international AG has seven afforested sites under contract, which have been formerly degraded Pampa areas. These sums up to be the total area of 4,307 hectare of forest, gained by the afforestation of unproductive and degraded land.
Besides the active climate protection by the carbon sink effect, also humus is beeing built up forming fertile soils for the future.
All forest management is executed in cooperation with the renowned governmental forest research institute "CIFAP" .
